The President welcomed members to the meeting and said that this morning’s speaker was, Rory McNeary, and the topic of his talk being “The Safeguarding of Northern Ireland’s Marine Historic Environment”.

Minutes of the meeting of Coleraine Probus Club
Club President Jim Archer informed members of the death of Ernest Preece’s wife Iona on 9th September. A Service of Thanksgiving will be held on Wed 14th September in Groomsport Parish Church at 2:30pm.
The President then welcomed members to the meeting. This morning’s speaker, Elaine Way, was introduced, the topic of her talk being “The New Radiotherapy Unit at Altnagelvin Hospital”.

Minutes of the meeting of Coleraine Probus Club
Club President Jim Archer informed members that sadly three members died during the summer recess, Hon. member Norman Austin, Don Bell and Ronnie Gray. Ronnie was one of the first members to join the club when established in 1988. The President then welcomed members and guest, Colum McCluskey, to the meeting. This morning’s speaker, Liam Beckett, was then introduced, the topic of his talk being “Sport”.
