The President Jim Archer welcomed members and guest Derek Wood to the meeting. Due to unforeseen circumstances the listed speaker was unable to attend this morning’s Probus meeting. Fortunately club member Ken Parkes stepped in at very short notice with a video appropriately entitled “The Saving of the Settle to Carlisle Railway”.
