Club President Jim Archer greets Rory McNeary, with Club members Des Moore (L) and John McHenry (R)
The President welcomed members to the meeting and introduced this morning’s speaker, Rory McNeary. The topic of Rory's talk being “The Safeguarding of Northern Ireland’s Marine Historic Environment”. Rory is a Senior Inspector with the (Marine Historic Environment) Marine and Fisheries Division and his local office is located in The Coastal Zone at Portrush. Rory works closely with the Centre for Maritime Archaeology at the University of Ulster.
