Coleraine Probus members were taken back to one of our darkest days in the 19th Century. On Wednesday, June 12, 1889 some 89 men, women and children died in what has gone down in history as our biggest rail disaster and one that could so easily have been avoided.

Coleraine Probus members were recently taken on a hair-raising road trip of over 5000 miles in a vintage car - well, not actually IN the car; they were guided along the route by Denis and Jill Wilson, who made this hazardous journey last year.
