DRAFT Minutes of the meeting of Coleraine Probus Club
Held in Portstewart Golf Club on Tuesday 18th February 2014

Club President Gordon Ward welcomed members and special guests, our speakers wife and children, who had not heard the full story of their Dads' epic adventure. The President then introduced our speaker for the morning Mr. Barry Torrens, who told us all about his determination to raise money for Cancer UK Research and his climbing Gran Paradiso and Mont Blanc. Club President Gordon Ward welcomed members to the meeting and then introduced our speaker for the morning Club Member Ian Murray. Ian's talk was about taking part in 'The Walk of 1000 Men', which took place in Cornwall last summer. Minutes of the meeting of Coleraine Probus Club

New Club President Gordon Ward welcomed club members and guest John Springhall to this first meeting of his Presidential year, on a fine sunny morning. Gordon then introduced our speaker for the morning Prof. Harry McMahon, who gave a fascinating and unusual talk on 'Art, Statistics and the Troubles'.
