All Ireland Rally 2014 PresentationJim Gordon reporting on the Rally said that the planning process commenced almost one year ago and the success of the Rally will be dependent to a very large extent on the involvement of all able members of our Club.
The planning continues with the compilation of the Rally Brochure including adverts, photographs and proof reading. The Brochure should be ready for printing by mid April at the latest.
Jim continued the Power Point Presentation with a detailed outline of the Rally Agenda for the two days from 14.00 hrs on Wednesday 28th to the conclusion at 14.45 hrs on Thursday 29th May.
The Presentation concluded with a listing of the volunteer tasks which included the assembly of the information packs for 300-400 delegates.
Every able member was asked to seriously consider how he can help with this event, which is very special in the life of our Probus Club and is most unlikely to be repeated for many years to come.
When the members have done so, please place a tick in the box or boxes which they would be prepared to offer help and return the completed from to Jim Gordon.
Rally leaflets and Task forms were given to each member. The success of the Rally depends on planning a good programme and members giving a warm welcome to and taking a personal interest in each and every one of our guests.
Neighbouring ClubsLetters seeking assistance have been forwarded to the Presidents of the five neighbouring Probus Clubs.
Finance: Nigel Semple reported that the Charity Collection in aid of “Cancer Research” amounted to £323.00.
