A O B: 1: The President asked club committee members to wait at the end of the meeting for a photo for the newspaper.
2: The Secretary reminded members to leave their new club badges in the badge box at the end of the meeting (so they didn't get lost at home!). The Secretary then said that Jim Hillis had kindly prepared a new version of the club members card with up to date contact numbers and meeting dates. Members were asked to take only one card each, which would be available at the back of the room.
3: Cecil Leitch proposed a vote of thanks to the New President for supplying all members with a 25th anniversary pen. This was carried unanimously.
4: Reggie Patterson thought that the current 'Chain of Office' the President sported was beginning to show it's 25 years of ware, and suggested it should be replaced. The President said that the committee had talked about that, and were looking into new options. We would be reporting back on that matter soon.
NEXT SPEAKERS MEETING: Would be on 12th February, when the speaker would be Chris Wilson, talking about the U.S. Military Dead Centre of Ulster.
